Fields and Topics:
In addition to clinical and counseling psychology, manuscripts are invited from a wide network of fields such as social work, nursing, education, organizational development, public policy, arts, and community development. We invite a wide range of topics that include experiential, cognitive, affective, expressive, transformational, systemic therapy and spirituality.
Categories
ARTICLES - This may include clinical experience, case studies, institutional and/or governmental policies and cross-cultural approaches. The mode of inquiry may employ quantitative or qualitative designs, conducted as experimental, hermeneutic, phenomenological or integral methodologies.
INSIGHTS - Personal experiences and a personal style, including poetry, book reviews, interviews, and art connected with Satir’s vision are welcome.
Specifications
1. In general, reports of research should conform to the style specified in the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association, 5th Edition. We can offer assistance regarding style in most cases.
2. All manuscripts should be double-spaced, using 12 point font and consistent formatting styles throughout with no footnotes. Citations in text.
3. If the manuscript is based on dissertation research, or a funded project, a note on the title page should provide the relevant facts.
4. Submit the electronic copy of your manuscript via e-mail to: submissions.
