The Satir Journal is a peer-reviewed, academic journal that promotes the therapeutic approaches and spiritual vision of Virginia Satir, a pioneer family therapist who dedicated her life to the well being of individuals, families and world peace. Our international consultant Dr. John Banmen, is a co-author of The Satir Model: Family Therapy and Beyond. Dr. Banmen has recently edited Applications of the Satir Growth Model, Satir Transformational Systemic Therapy, and In her Own Words which can be purchased at the Satir Institute of the Pacific bookstore.
